Reordering our characters.

IIRC, wasn't there a way for users to reorder their characters on the character select screen?

 

I have extreme OCD so this is would be a huge QoL for me, I like having certain things in certain places -- in this case, certain characters in certain slots.

 

Yes, people like me do exist, so if it's possible at all, I'd appreciate any answers.

I understand this will receive negativity and HATE, but hear me out.

Note that this is all TENTATIVE, NUMBERS CAN BE CHANGED, what's important is the reason of the suggestion and the idea behind it.

With that said, my suggestions are:

1. To (temporarily) disable the additional damage which scales with Base Level that most 3rd job skills have and to decrease the effectiveness of stats increasing the ATK% modifier of certain skills.

If it's possible, only during PVP/WoE, if not, in general is fine too.

I don't know if it's just me, but I feel that damage is just way too high in Renewal, players are dropping each othrler after one or two skill casts, auto attacking is made almost obsolete except on certain classes.

3rd job skills in general, are both insane and broken, ridiculous modifiers ontop of a multiplier at the end of the calculation.

I don't understand why Gravity did this, but it SHOULD be removed. If not removed, reduced effectiveness or give 1st, 2nd, and Transcendent Job skills a small multiplier buff as well.

2. Increase the amount of stats it takes to be immune to status conditions from 100 to 105 or 110.

Not 100% about this change but it is pretty self explanatory, 76 new levels (61 for extended jobs) means more stats to distribute, which means it's now easy to be immune to nearly all status conditions. I'd like to change this by allowing stat builds to require some thought aside from "Get 100 VIT and you're good." and whatever else there may be. I think there should be sacrifices in every player's build.

A lot of the statuses are made useless due to the increased stat points and the newer status conditions are the only ones to worry about (Burning, Freezing, Crystallize, Deep Sleep, etc.), especially since the formula in resisting them is more complex.

I know Thor is trying to stay as close to official/kRO setttings, but I feel these changes would make RRO's 3rd job server unique from others and "balanced" if possible.

I can see a variation of #1 being implemented but not #2, and I don't doubt this suggestion will be shot down, but discussion is always important and I'd like this to remain pinned or open in case RRO decides to change Thor.

Gives the correct 100 ATK, -20 DEF and MDEF, but does not give the 100 MATK.

 

I don't know if this is true for Lv 1, which is supposedly 70 ATK/MATK and -20 DEF/MDEF.

Currently uses Anti-Magic level 1 as opposed to level 6.

 

Ulfhedinn (its physical counterpart) is using the correct Stone Skin level 6.

+30 ATK, +220 MATK (+15% MATK pre-Renewal), +6 INT, +2 VIT and +1% MATK every 2 refines and has a chance to recover 200 SP when using Heal.

 

This item seems to be broken, when equipped, only the +30 ATK, +6 INT, and +2 VIT are showing up and it can't be refined.

 

I suspect that it's using the +15% MATK effect from pre-Renewal but I'm clueless as to why it can't be refined.
